Watch: James Haskell Slams 'Pathetic Sport' Rugby After Tackle Penalty Decision

James Haskell came off the bench today for Wasps in what was his last home game for the club. The 33-year old has struggled to find a home within the Premiership and may have to look abroad. However, if his post-match comments are to believed he is not totally disheartened with that reality given the status of the game today.
The Wasps beat the Northampton Saints 36-29 to clinch a top-four spot and a semi-final spot against the Newcastle Falcons. A riveting game was decided by a Christian Wade double but Wasps could have won by more until a John Bassett touchdown was disallowed after a high tackle by Haskell in the build-up.
It was a decision that infuriated Haskell.
"I don't know what's happened to rugby? It sounds like I'm fading out at the right time, it's becoming a bit of a pathetic sport at the moment."
James Haskell. No. Holding. Back.
