The 41st Dublin Marathon took place earlier today, the first in three years, with 25,000 competitors taking part.

Morocco's Taoufik Allem won the men's race in a time of 2 hours 11 minutes and 30 seconds, while Ethiopia's Nigist Mulaneh was victorious in the women's race with a time of 2:28.32

Martin Hoare and Courtney Gallagher took home the national titles, with Patrick Monahan from Kildare winning the wheelchair race for a sixth time.
