The Irish Life Dublin Marathon has announced Sports Travel International as its new international travel partner, signing a five year deal with the company.

The Dublin Marathon remains one of the most popular in Europe, and made a successful return last Sunday after a three year hiatus, with Taoufik Allam and Nigist Mulaneh victorious in the men's and women's races.

It is hoped that the partnership with Sports Travel International will help raise the profile of the marathon even further, with its organisation of travel and accommodation packages.

Jim Aughney, Race Director of Life Dublin Marathon said, “we are delighted with the partnership with  Chris and his fantastic team at Sports Travel International to help grow our event significantly over the  coming years.”

“The Irish Life Dublin Marathon is an event that is  close to our hearts, and we are delighted to be the exclusive international travel partner. Our customers  love this Marathon and we are thrilled to be able to offer guaranteed entry and accommodation at  some of the City’s best placed hotels.”

“My late father was from Dublin; he grew up in Crumlin so the city really has a piece of my heart. I ran  the Marathon myself for my Dad in 2019 so it really is an event that means a lot to me personally.”
