The men's 4x100m relay was dramatic: Great Britain took gold ahead of the United States and Japan, while Jamaica did not medal as a result of a deeply misfortune end to Usain Bolt's storied career. The eight-time Olympic gold medalist was pipped by Justin Gatlin in his final 100m race last weekend, and tonight, in his final race at a major championship, he pulled up on the final straight.

The Brits ran the third-fastest time of all time, but the main story will be the sad end for Bolt. He left the track in tears, with the help of his teammates.
