LeBron James Lands Dunk Of The Year Contender As Lakers Clip Kings

The Anthony Davis and LeBron James partnership continues to click as the LA Lakers overcame Sacramento Kings 99-97 to move to ten wins from 12 games.

In defence, Davis delivered a match-winning block as Harrison Barnes was driving towards the basket just before the buzzer. In attack, it was the LeBron James show as the 34-year old landed 29 points and 11 assists including a monster dunk.

Prior to the late block, James hit two free throws with 5.5 seconds to play. He also chipped in with some superb shooting from the three.

Speaking earlier this week, James said he has high hopes for the future and is not considering retirement: “I’m not at the end of my story.”

“Me and Tom Brady are one and the same. We’re going to keep playing until we can’t walk no more,” he said.
