Carl Froch might take some flack from the sporting public for his incredibly arrogant fight persona, but you can't question the former four-time world champion's in-ring toughness.

So hard is Froch, in fact, that by the end of his career, his take-a-shot-to-give-a-shot in-ring approach rendered his schnozz almost entirely flat, to the point that he had sinus issues.

The now-retired super-middleweight returned to the Sky Sports screens on Wednesday night alongside his friend and current WBC cruiserweight champ Tony Bellew, to discuss Kell Brook's mammoth encounter with Beast from the East Gennady 'Triple G' Golovkin in London on Saturday night.

Froch was rocking a fresh new 'do, but it was another aspect of his physical appearance which wowed the watching public, who naturally love nothing more than to take the piss out of a man who may have reminded them on occasion what he did to George Groves in front of 80,000 people at Wembley Stadium.

It's certainly the clearest indication yet that Froch intends to stay retired. And in fairness to him, there's nothing wrong with trying to look a bit more presentable when doing punditry work on one of the biggest sports broadcasters in the world. Plus it'll help him to breathe, which can only be a positive. It's the tan we can't get over.

Sure look, once he steers clear of the reality tv circuit...
