Tyrone McCullagh won the vacant Celtic Super Bantamweight title on Saturday night with a unanimous decision win against Joe Ham in Belfast.

McCullagh, who hails from Derry, did so with another Derryman in his corner - James McClean. Irish double Olympic bronze medalist Paddy Barnes was also in McCullagh's corner for the fight who took place on the Michael Conlan vs Adeilson Dos Santos card.

There was a huge roar at the SSE Arena as the 27-year-old, known as 'White Chocolate', was walked to the ring by Barnes and McClean.

Despite suffering a scare in the third round when he was knocked down by Scottish fighter Ham, McCullagh worked his way back into the fight to win on points over the ten rounds.

On Instagram, McClean thanked McCullagh for the experience.
