Paddy Barnes progressed to the semi-finals of the light flyweight division at the European boxing championships in Belarus today after defeating Hungarian, Istvan Ungvari.

The fight didn't go all Barnes way though, as you can see from the photo above. He battled through though and won on a split decision.
He's joined by John-Joe Nevin, Jason Quigley and Michael Conlan in making the semi-finals and so guaranteeing themselves at least a bronze medal.
