Paddy Barnes will return to Belfast to fight for the WBO European flyweight title in just his third professional contest.

Promoter Frank Warren has confirmed his return to Belfast on Saturday June 17th, with Barnes European scrap taking place on an action-packed card at the city's Waterfront Hall.

Barnes cruised to victory over Adrian Dimas Garzon last month, but will presumably face a stiffer test in two months' time as he fights for his first professional title.

Hometown and armchair favourite Jamie Conlan will also defend his WBC International silver belt on the card as he eyes a world title shot later in the year.

Elsewhere on the card, Dublin's Stephen Ormond also fights for a WBO European strap, this one in the lightweight division against current champ Craig Evans of Wales.

Ticket details will be announced in the coming weeks.
