The lightweight 'Hitman' obliterated Portuguese opponent Rui Barrios with a nuclear left hand after an entertaining scrap in the Celtic Box Cup, taking home top honours in the Senior A lightweight division.

Cleary captained an eight-man Irish team at last year's European Youth Championships, and is a real contender to represent his country at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. He won silver at the 2013 European Youths, dropping a controversial decision to Bulgaria's Daniel Asenov.
