Phillip Hughes was the next big thing in Australian cricket. He was on his way to being a superstar in the world of cricket, and quite possibly, the name that non cricket fans would know.

The 25 year old was a precocious talent with huge hope for the future. Earlier this year he broke the Australian record for a score at A Level, notching up 202. He was continually not selected for Australia, which lead to numerous calls for his inclusion, which can really give you a sense of how special a talent he was.
