The New Ireland Kit For The Cricket World Cup Has Been Released And It's... Interesting

The cricket World Cup is only a matter of weeks away, so for the vast majority of Irish sports fans it's time to pretend you are knowledgeable about a sport you pay absolutely no attention to at any other time.

If you intend on hopping on the Irish cricket bandwagon for 2015 after the incredibly successful bandwagon of 2011, then what better way to get involved than buy getting yourself the new jersey, which has been made by O'Neills.

The reaction to the kit so far has been mixed, as Ireland will be wearing a much more luminous green than we normally do, see for yourself:

It's certainly different, but is it good different? O'Neills are clearly brave enough to try whatever they want after their sensational DR Congo kit for the Africa Cup of Nations, and they've tried to put a splash of colour into the Cricket World Cup too, so we'll give them the benefit of the doubt.
