And so we've reached the last 8 in our search for the greatest sports TV theme tune of all time.

Round 2 didn't provide as many shocks as the first round, and the top four seeds are all safely through to the quarter finals after four more massive wins.

A sad farewell to the Sky Sports darts song.

The lowest seed left in the competition is A Question of Sport (25) who had another big surprise win after its first round toppling of Test Match Special.

Kasabian's Club Foot clearly made a huge impression on football fans in the two years it was used by Sky as it's made it through the quarter finals.

The other side of the draw looks more competitive at this stage. Gazzetta Football Italia has romped through in both rounds so far.

Meanwhile, BBC's Formula 1 and the Rugby World Cup theme was a knockdown, dragout war for most of the day, but in the end, Fleetwood Mac rule, and there is no rugby in the last eight.

Match of the Day (1) vs. A Question of Sport (25)

Surely the fairytale story for Sue Barker, Ally McCoist, and the crew ends here?

Champions League (4) vs. Super Sunday, 2009-11 (21)

The two years this song had as Sky's Super Sunday theme tune obviously had an impact, but one suspects it's had the easier ends of the draw, beating the best two themes the NFL had to offer in the first two rounds.  The Champions League is a different beast altogether.

The other side of the draw is where all the drama is in Round 3. BBC's Formula 1 and Gazzetta Football Italia are the biggest threats to the top 4 left in the competition.

The Sunday Game (2) vs. BBC Formula 1 (10)

Ireland's only entry for the second round in a row, The Sunday Game's dominance has been in the 90% range in both rounds so far.

Grandstand (3) vs. Gazzetta Football Italia (6)

The tie of the round. Grandstand was the worst performer of the top 4 seeds in Round 2, while Gazzetta has scored 80% in both rounds.
