GIFs: Riders Were Struggling To Stay Upright At The Tour De France Today

There were some crazy conditions on today's fifth stage of the Tour de France as the rain bucketed down. It was a stage riders were not looking forward to as it featured nine cobblestone sections.

Last year's winner Chris Froome is out of the race after two crashes left him unable to continue today.

39km from the finish on one of the cobblestone sections, Lotto rider Lars Bak ate some dirt.
