The Tour of Qinghai Lake had a massive crash today when a pedestrian who wasn't paying attention started to cross the road as the peloton was on it's way. Somehow he missed the first few riders, but the rest weren't as lucky.

The man was injured, and subsequently arrested. There are unconfirmed reports that the man was protesting. Of what, we don't know - but if true it's even more idiotic.
