2013 Tour De France winner Chris Froome claims he had a cup of urine thrown on him during today's stage.

Froome has been accused of doping during the tour this year, and despite the distraction, managed to extend his lead to three minutes and ten seconds to his nearest rivals. The person in question from the crowd clearly thinks that Froome should be tested more often and more closely

Froome understandably wasn't pleased:

Unfortunately, someone threw a cup of urine into my face and shouted 'doper' which is extremely wrong on so many different levels.

This incidence comes just a day after his Sky teammate Richie Porte said he had been punched by someone in the crowd.

Froome has always maintained that he's never doped, but understands why he's being questioned given the sport's history.
