If the words 'Tommy Bowe brother' don't make you weak at the knees, then you clearly need a bit of a pulse check.

Watch out, ladies and lads. There's a new Bowe in town. And he's featured in today's 'Mail on Sunday'.

Most of us heading to Dublin from the shticks have to venture into Coppers with no introduction, as anonymous, naive waifs from the innocent plains outside of the big shmoke. Most of us aren't fortunate enough to have either the looks or the opening line that being Tommy Bowe's brother can provide.

Or a page 3 spread in a tabloid newspaper that essentially amounts to a dating ad.

'Single, new to Dublin and keen to visit Coppers'

"Watch out, Tommy Bowe, there's a younger version waiting in the wings" reads the intro to the Mail on Sunday's piece today about Tommy Bowe's fashion brand 'XV Kings' and his younger brother David, who is moving down to Dublin to set up a software company.

David joined St Mary's rugby club in Templeogue but Tommy is more keen to stress that his younger brother is unattached.

'Make sure and put in he's single'.

And no sooner has the poor fellow declared he's moving down to Dublin than he's been asked when he's planning to taste the sweaty action of the city's most notorious drinking hovel.

David adds: 'I haven't been to Coppers yet. I'm sure it will happen as I have been hearing a lot about it.'

And, what's more, David has "a bit of the Bowe physique".
