For only the second time in history, a team has received special permission to wear a retro kit in a Premier League match as West Brom will pay tribute to their FA Cup Final winning striker Jeff Astle against Leicester City on April 11.

The last time a team wore a retro kit in the Premier League, Manchester United wore plain red jerseys to commemorate the 50 year anniversary of the Munich air disaster, back in 2008, but now West Brom will tog out in an old school kit inspired by the one worn in the 1968 FA Cup final.

The jersey is very basic. Honestly it looks like something you'd get when you remove all the layers in Pro Evo's edit mode, but we are fully behind teams paying tribute to significant moments in their history with retro kits, so it's good to see something like this in the Premier League again.

The West Brom starting outfield players will wear numbers 2-11 on their back and the keeper will wear a blank jersey.
