Lazar Markovic has agreed terms to leave Liverpool on loan just a season after joining from Benfica for £20m.
The 21-year-old winger had an underwhelming first season at Anfield, and while there were flashes of brilliance, he struggled with the physicality of the Premier League and he's reportedly heading for Fenerbache.
The Turkish giants are taking the Serb on loan for the season but it is understood that Liverpool want him to return to the club next season after no option to buy was including in the deal.
Markovic is the latest player to depart Anfield on loan after just a single season at the club after Mario Balotelli rejoined AC Milan earlier this week.
Four players in total have left the club after one season. Rickie Lambert joined West Brom earlier this summer while Javi Manquillo's two-year loan deal from Atletico Madrid was cancelled after just 12 months.
Here's the rest of Friday's transfer gossip:
Manchester City will pay Kevin De Bruyne £200,000 wages per week when he completes his £50m move from Wolfsburg.
Chelsea will spend the rest of the transfer window attempting to sign 22-year-old Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.
David De Gea's representatives are increasingly confident that the 24-year-old goalkeeper will join Real Madrid before the close of the transfer window.
Liverpool expect to see 24-year-old Italian striker Fabio Borini leave the club before the transfer window closes on Tuesday.
Chelsea's 28-year-old midfielder John Obi Mikel is wanted by Turkish club Besiktas before the close of the transfer window.
