Gareth Bale's agent gave some quotes to the Telegraph at the weekend which his player could probably have done without. Jonathan Barnett's weak excuse for Bale's poor performance against Juventus last week was that his Real Madrid teammates were ignoring him on the pitch and not passing to him.

It really came across as akin to an overprotective protective parent having words with their son's U14 manager.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has spoken about what Barnett had to say and he was not impressed.

via Goal.com, here's what Ancelotti had to say:

Bale's agent has never seen a training session and does not know anything about Bale's relationship with his team-mates.

Bale likes his team-mates and his team-mates like Bale. It would have been better had his agent kept quiet. I really don't know what he was trying to achieve because Bale is happy at Madrid.

We are happy with Bale this season. I spoke with him and he is happy to be here. Last season he scored in decisive matches and he could do it again.
