The 25-year-old signed a five-year contract with the Blues, costing a reported £32 million. Kante spent just one season at Leicester City where he played an integral part of their title-winning season.

Speaking to Chelseafc.com, he called the move to Chelsea a 'dream come true'.

I am so happy to have signed for one of the biggest clubs in Europe. It's a dream come true for me.

The opportunity to work with Antonio Conte, a brilliant coach, and some of the best players in the world was simply too good to turn down.

My first season in English football was very special and now I hope to go on to achieve even more during my time as a Chelsea player.

I am looking forward to meeting up with my new team-mates and helping the club achieve a lot of success.

Transfer Rumours:

No big name signings at Liverpool? Liverpool fans might be a little upset with Jurgen Klopp's comments, after the German insisted Liverpool don't need any big name signing this summer.

Everyone expects big names and a big improvement because of big names and if you don't know the players it's like what are we doing? what are they doing?

Some clubs have already done a lot but you cannot prove in this moment what's really right. What you have to do is prepare the new season."

Done Deals:

Mario Gotze will rejoin Borussia Dortmund: Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have open talks regarding a deal to bring Gotze back to the Westfalenstadion, according to Bayern chairman, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.

Gotze joined Bayern in 2013, after leaving Dortmund - but it hasn't worked out for the 24-year-old. He's failed to establish himself in the Bayern squad, and it looks like he's about to be handed a lifeline that will bring him back to Dortmund.

Giaccherini leaves Sunderland: Sunderland midfielder Emanuele Giaccherini has joined Napoli for a fee in the region of £2 million.

The 31-year-old spent last season on loan at Bologna, after only making 18 starts during his stint at Sunderland. Although he featured in the Italian squad who were knocked out of Euro 2016 at the quarter-final stage - the Black Cats have opted to rid themselves of his services.
