Liverpool vs Arsenal was always going to be intriguing and so it has proved. Here's how twitter viewed the intriguing, and defensively inept, 2-2 draw.

The line-ups were cause for some early debate, particularly when it came to both defences.

There was important stats.

But it was okay, Brendan had support.

For Liverpool, it seemed to be all about Lazar Markovic.

Some even went full hyperbole in their praise.

Others had a more succinct view of the situation.

If Markovic was the main man for Liverpool, Flamini was taking the brunt of things for Arsenal's poor display.

This may have been going a bit far.

Santi Cazorla as you're main defensive reinforcement summed things up for Arsenal fans.

And finally Liverpool took the lead through Philippe Coutinho. Ferdy5 was impressed.

Scratch that this is Liverpool. Arsenal equalised within moments through Mathieu Debuchy.

Half-time was all about one man, Thierry Henry of course.

Martin Skrtel was in a battle with the bottom of Giroud's boot.

More Thierry Henry referencing, this time because Sterling handled the ball, nothing to do with his punditry.

2-1 to Arsenal thanks to Giroud but it might as well have been chalked up to Liverpool's defence.

Then there was an appearance from a man many thought to be a mythical figure at Anfield.

To compound the fact that no one really wants him, he was soon sent off.

There was a wardrobe malfunction just to prove that Borini deserved to be sent off.

Scrap everything because Martin Skrtel scored a late equaliser. Paper meet cracks. This time it was Arsenal's turn to fall to the defensive fragility that everyone knew was there.
