A source has told ESPN that Steven Gerrard will join LA Galaxy on an 18-month deal worth over $6m.
The Galaxy are strong favourites to sign the Liverpool captain and if this is anything to go by then a deal could almost be finalised. The contract would work out at around £3.9m a year for Gerrard, who'd replace Landon Donovan as one of the designated players allowed to break the MLS salary cap.
