Back in April 2002, he nation was on a high as Ireland had qualified for the 2002 FIFA World Cup in Korea & Japan, and Damien Duff was one of the faces of the future of Irish football.

Duffer would go on to have a stellar World Cup, and become a vital part of the Irish team for the next decade, so Adidas were on the ball when they selected him to show off their new Predator Mania football boots. The boots became some of the most universally loved boots ever, but for the launch event it was decided that the best form of advertising was to stick Duffer in the The Radisson Hotel in Dublin and throw in some women and children, and solos. It's not a footballer photoshoot if they're not doing solos.

Damien contemplates life on the window sill of a hotel.

The children arrive and Duffer laughs at their inferior footwear.

Duffer again laughs as he discovers the size of this particular child's foot, which of course will not fit in an adult boot.

The children have been abandoned and now it's over to the steps for some more serious thought.

The sexiness of the Predator Mania has attracted two women who wish to hold the boots.

They then proceed to pretend the boots are guns.

This angers Damien, who insists that the boots are his.

All his.
