A Celtic Player Joins Martin Odegaard In Marca's Best XI Of Teenage Players In Europe

It's not often you see one of Spain's biggest sporting publications showing some love to Celtic youngsters, but they have done just that this week with the publication of their XI of the best teenagers in Europe.

Names like Martin Odegaard, Renato Sanches, Youri Tielemans, and even Joe Gomez of Liverpool were joined by Celtic defender Kieran Tierney, although they did spell his name wrong on the graphic:

Dominick Solanke is on loan at Vitesse from Chelsea, and another familiar name should be that of 17 year old Gianluigi Donnarumma, who has now established himself as AC Milan's number one goalkeeper.

It's quite a nice mention for Tierney, who has indeed looked a very promising player for Celtic this season.

Despite his name, he is a Scottish youth international who was born on the Isle Of Man, so don't go hoping for any pursuit from the FAI. Even though we really could use another left-back...
