There's been some great matches contested between United and Spurs over the years and we can expect plenty of goals of previous encounters are anything to go by.

Spurs pile the pressure on David Moyes by inflicted a fourth home Premier League defeat of the season in December. Christian Eriksen set up Adebayor before scoring the other to give Spurs a 2-0 lead at Old Trafford. Once again the reply came a minute later as Danny Welbeck dinked a finish over Hugo Lloris, but it wasn't enough for Manchester United.

A month later was the return fixture. Kyle Walker's bullet of a free kick put Spurs ahead before Rooney leveled 10 minutes later. A goal of the season contender from Sandro left David De Gea with absolutely no chance before Rooney leveled again, this time from the penalty spot.

Let's hope for more of the same when Manchester United host Spurs at 12:45 on BT Sport 1 this Saturday.
