It looks like Aaron Ramsey will be saying goodbye to Arsenal and the Premier League next season, with reports suggesting the Welsh midfielder is closing in on a free transfer to Bayern Munich.

PL sides such as Chelsea and Liverpool were mooted with an interest in the 27-year-old who has struggled with injuries in his time at Arsenal. But it is Bayern Munich who are in pole position to win the race for Ramsey's signature with a report in the Independent, who claim the Bundesliga club are 'confident' of securing the attacking midfielder's services when he becomes a free agent next summer.

In other transfer news Manchester United's Eric Bailly is the subject of interest from Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur according to Duncan Castles in the Daily Record. The Ivorian has fallen out of favour with Jose Mourinho.

It is well known that the Portugese wants to bring in another defender, and any money from the sale of Bailly could be used to fund a move for another centre back, with Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly and Inter Milan's Milan Skriniar thought to be on the United boss' wishlist.
