Adam Lallana Involved In Most Outrageous Transfer Rumour Of The Year

We've still got a month left in the year, but we've got a late contender for the most outrageous transfer story of the year. Paris Saint-Germain are set to swoop for a HUGE deal. For Adam Lallana.

Lallana has played eleven times for the Reds so far this season, chipping in with three goals and five assists. It's a pretty decent year for the 28-year old. But enough to warrant a tripling of his wage to £200,000 a week and a £40,000,000 price tag?

Apparently, yes. The Sun report this morning that a PSG ''insider'' has told them that the Ligue 1 champions are set to table a bid once the transfer window opens in January.

Adam is seen as a player of real quality in the Premier League. His age is not a problem as the club want the best players — and he is one of them.

Lallana's current wage is £65,000 per week. That's pretty fair, given the midfielder's talent.

But yet again we see PSG being linked with a player for a ridiculous amount. Because they are the 'moneybags' of Europe, you can pick a number between 1-100, pick a player that's half-decent but probably below their level and BOOM. You've got yourself a transfer story.

Now, we could be completely wrong and the Sun could've got this spot on. We'll have to wait until January to find out. We just can't wait for next week, when Manchester City are linked with a £120 million move for Charlie Adam.
