This lad looks like quite the talent.

Ireland have a lot of problems in front of goal, that issue isn't new. The team have been struggling for goals ever since the retirement of Robbie Keane, although their struggles have certainly worsened over the last couple of years.

For Kenny's side to ever become a prolific outfit, they will likely require the likes of Aaron Connolly, Adam Idah, or Troy Parrott to make a major leap in their development at senior level.

Ademipo Odubeko also has the potential to have a major impact.

The 18-year old made his first team debut for West Ham earlier this season and looks to have a big future at the club. He joined the Premier League side in 2019 after tearing things up in the youth ranks at Manchester United, turning down a long-term contract at Old Trafford in order to seek out a clearer path to first team football.

While he has not got that at West Ham just yet, his performance against his former club last night will certainly do his chances no harm.

Odubeko put on a finishing masterclass for the West Ham U23s against Manchester United, scoring a hat-trick as he led his side to a 3-2 victory.

His first goal was a well taken effort, finding the bottom corner with a strong strike from outside the box.

The second goal was the pick of the bunch.

After being played through by Ireland U21 international Conor Coventry, Odubeko would produce a stunning curling effort from the corner of the penalty area.

He would secure the win for West Ham with a strike deep into injury time, producing yet another excellent finish from distance.

West Ham's strong form in recent months has made it difficult for Odubeko to make a genuine first team breakthrough as of yet, but you would hope he will be given a run in the side at some stage over the course of 2021.
