Adidas' Request For Fans To Design New Juve/Man Utd/Bayern Jerseys Had Some Cracking Results

At the beginning of August, German sportswear giant Adidas announced plans to release a third, or alternative, jersey for Juventus, Manchester United, and Bayern Munich, with the designs being created by the fans and put to a public vote.

A blank template for each club was provided, and wannabe shirt designers, both amateur and professional, had a go at crafting up their dream jersey for their team.

It was a great idea by Adidas, although not totally unique, but submissions were sent in by the thousand and some of them are absolutely outstanding.

Some of them, of course, were a pisstake:

But some of them were genuine efforts, and really really good ones at that.

Manchester United's jersey will be white/grey, and retro designs were the most popular:

We've seen these types of competitions before, but usually it is the clubs that request designs, so it is strange for Adidas to do so in that respect, but there have been some excellent contributions which will look fantastic when they are made into actual jerseys, so we will keep an eye out to see when a winner is decided.
