Paolo Di Canio really went over the top with his celebrations after Sunderland's three goals against Newcastle on Sunday.

He lept into the air like a wild man after Sessegnon's opener, then went with the classic Mourinho-esque knee slide after Adam Johnson made it 2-0 and then did a little jig after David Vaughan capped the day off with a cracking strike to make it 3-0.

Alan Pardew did his best to match Di Canio in the celebration stakes yesterday, only to realise that Papiss Cisse's goal had been disallowed for an offside.

Pardew had long been the king of over the top managerial celebrations in the North East of England as he demonstrates with this classic effort against Everton back in September.

It looks like he'll now have to up his game after the arrival of the new kid on the block.
