The All-Star and Footballer of the Year nominations are usually a fairly decent representation of the Championship season that's just gone by. The team that wins the All-Ireland title is more often than not rewarded with the lion's share of individual honours and, given Dublin's dominance this year, it's no surprising that that trend continues.

All three footballer of the year nominations come from Jim Gavin's side while eleven Dubs make it on to the All-Star nominations list.

All-Ireland runners up Kerry have eight nominations, while Tyrone and Mayo have eight. Monaghan have four and there's one each for Fermanagh, Westmeath and Laois who provide the wildcard nomination in the shape of forward Donie Kingston.
