Last night Juventus defeated Lazio 2-1 after extra time, securing the second trophy of a potential treble after already claiming the Serie A title and looking forward to a Champions League final clash with Barcelona in June, and Andrea Pirlo, as always, was an integral part of the success.
It is said that AC Milan allowed Pirlo to leave for Juve because they believed he was too old. He has since gone on to win no less than seven trophies with the club, while AC have won none.
