Anthony Stokes Given Suspended Sentence For Assault On Elvis Impersonator

Anthony Stokes has avoided jail for assaulting 53 year old Elvis impersonator, Anthony Bradley.

Judge Patricia Ryan handed down a two-year suspended sentence in the Dublin Central Criminal Court this afternoon. He must also pay Bradley £30,000.

The assault took place outside Buck Whaley's nightclub in Leeson Street in June 2013.

Stokes pleaded guilty to the assault last November.

Bradley suffered a broken nose and two broken teeth in the incident. He's been diagnosed with a degenerative spinal condition since the assault, causing pain across his neck and shoulders.
