Any Arsenal Fans Agree With Jose Mourinho's Comments?

Jose Mourinho has gone back in time nearly 20 years to pull an old Arsenal stereotype out of the back of the wardrobe after he labelled their team 'boring.'

At the end of the scoreless draw between the sides on Monday, Chelsea were booed off the pitch after they shut up shop for the last 20 minutes. However Mourinho has since been quick to point the finger of boredom at Wenger's outfit:

'I think boring is a team that plays at home and cannot score a goal. That's boring.

'If somebody was boring, they were boring because Petr Cech made zero saves.'

He added: 'You go to your stadium and you fill your stadium, in weather like we had on Monday, to see victories. There is not a home fan in any club in the world who goes to the stadium and expects his team not to win.'

Now I quickly went off to have a gander at the home stats for this season, preparing myself to issue a smartarse facts and figures rebuttal to Mourinho's comments but actually, in the nine games Arsenal have played at home this season they've scored 16 goals. In comparison, Liverpool have scored 25 in the same amount of matches, while Man City have scored 35 in eight.

However, Mourinho should get his own house in order seeing as Chelsea are just one goal better off than Arsenal, albeit in one match fewer.

Still though, Ozil, Cazorla, Walcott, Ramsey, and Giroud are hardly boring. And of course let's not forget about the beast that is Nicklas Bendtner.
