With back to back games against Bayern Munich on the horizon, it's looking more than likely that Arsenal will be waving goodbye to the Champions League this season a lot earlier than they would have liked. Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiakos should be guaranteed wins for Arsenal but somehow they sit bottom of the group with no points.

Arsene Wenger may not like it but, when that happens, his decisions are invariably going to be questioned and there was one big decision on everyone's mind last night. Even before the game started, Harry Redknapp raised the possibility of what would happen if David Ospina made a clanger with Petr Cech having been rested.

Sure enough, that's exactly what happened and Arsene Wenger was in mood for the inevitable questions after the game.

I make the decisions and selections for the team and I’m responsible for it. I know many things that you don’t know and that you ignore. You cannot select a team by using a poll and getting everyone’s opinion before the game.

I do not have to sit here and give you any explanation to every decision I make. You are capable to judge and I leave you to that. No keeper is mistake-free, it could have happened to Petr Cech as well.

Don't worry Arsene, sure it's the same every year. You'll have a bad start then rally incredibly, make the Champions League and then we'll start it all over again next year.
