Kevin Kilbane remains loyal to his own generation of Irish players when asked who should feature on 29 March against the Poles.

In Dublin to launch the FAI Junior Cup, he said that Robbie Keane needs to start against Poland and believes it was a mistake to relegate him to the bench in Glasgow.

And while he praised David Forde's efforts over the past two years, he gives Given the nod, arguing he is still Ireland's best keeper.

And he details how Damien Duff's desire to play League of Ireland had been flagged long ago by the man himself. He also had interesting thoughts on Seamus Coleman's future.
