We had hoped to get Dermot O'Leary in for a suspense filled announcement but unfortunately he has knitting class on Fridays so we're just going to have to do this ourselves.
If you've been watching Xpose and other such TV fashion programmes over the last 24 hours then you no doubt know by now that we have released a limited edition Balls.ie t-shirt to celebrate our five year anniversary and to pay homage to all the great no.5s in Irish sports, such as Steve Staunton, Paul O'Connell and Gary Breen.
Each week we're giving away a top to the person who sends us in the best tip-off (story idea or one they've spotted on the interweb) and we're proud to announce our first two winners.
First off we have Conor Gallagher, who wins a t-shirt for sending us a video of one of the truly special moments at the World Cup. Conor, like many Irish fans, was caught up in the madness of the Japan win over South Africa. He captured the celebrations in Cardiff:
Our second winner is Ian from the Artistic Differences; the man behind the lyrics for the greatest Irish sports anthem of the year.
The morning after Ireland v Germany, a special post landed in our inbox on Facebook. Ian and his friends had penned a tribute to the famous win and that brilliant Shane Long goal. The lyrics were so perfect that we had to try do it justice. So off we went to find someone to sing it.
Low and behold, who did we stumble upon only Keywest. What happened next was magical.
Speaking about his big t-shirt win, Ian said:
It's amazing, I can't believe it! I'll be the talk of the town now.
In fact it's actually great timing. I've a wedding coming up in December so I'm planning to wear it there an all!
