We're halfway through the summer transfer window and Premier League clubs are building their squads for the new season.

There have been several high-profile signings already, but who are the most exciting new or returning faces to the Premier League? Here's the best new Premier League x11 ahead of the 2015/16 season.

Goalkeeper: Maarten Stekelenburg

Stekenlenburg was highly rated when when he made the move to Roma after almost a decade as Ajax number one. His stint in Rome was disappointing and he made an unremarkable move to Fulham. His recent travails echo Edwin van Der Sar's mid-career slump. He's now been drafted in at Southampton by Ronald Koeman to replace the injured Fraser Forster.  Koeman gave Stekelenburg his professional debut and could begin his renaissance.

Forward: Aleksandar Mitrovic

The 20-year-old Serbian is set to move to Newcastle after scoring 28 goals in 51 appearances for Anderlecht last season. He starred in the Belgian giants Champions League campaign where he found the net three times including against Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund.

The tricky Brazilian international is Liverpool's marquee signing, making the move from Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim. The £21.3m 23-year-old is expected to line out in a more advanced attacking role at Anfield.
