Ask someone who doesn't enjoy watching the MLS what they think of the league and the likelihood is that you'll get the insufferably lazy opinion that it is a retirement home for faded stars that are looking for one last paycheck.

The standard of football may not be up to the level of major European leagues, but the MLS is one of the most enjoyable to watch if you're looking for action and a bit of drama.

When a player takes the decision to move to an MLS club, it's absolutely not a holiday. They must adapt to an entirely different sporting culture, and full credit to Tubes of Soccer AM for asking questions we had previously never heard asked two stars of the league.
