Players in the Brazilian football league launched a protest at fixture congestion that they feel does not give them adequate recovery time following matches.
The surreal scenes saw both teams refused to play following tip off, folding their arms in defiance for the opening moments of every game across the league
Corinthians defender Paulo Andre, who is leading the protest stated
"We will escalate the protests if the federation doesn’t respond"
This is not the first time exotic parts of the world have felt the wrath of poorly planned fixture arrangements as the winners of tomorrow's Clare county football will have to play the Munster final on Sunday!
