For as long as he is not employed by the FAI, however, Kerr has plenty of time to dedicate to media work, and while Irish football may be suffering in the long-term for his absence, Irish football fans are at least benefitting in the short-term.

Kerr was on co-commentary duty with Today FM at Old Trafford today, as Man United defeated Watford 2-0.

During the course of the game, Watford's M'Baye Niang had the opportunity to pull a goal back when the ball was whipped across the penalty area, but fluffed his lines.
