If there's one thing that Callum Robinson loves, it's a goal against Chelsea.

The Ireland striker has had a mixed campaign at West Brom. Starting the season as their first choice centre forward, he would put in a stunning performance against Chelsea at The Hawthorns in September, bagging a brace in the process.

However, the goals would dry up from there. Robinson would also find himself out of the team since the turn of the year, with Sam Allardyce usually opting to play Mbaye Diagne as a lone striker up front.

He was left our of the starting XI once again for this afternoon's trip to Chelsea, but the 26-year old would play a big part as his side secured a 5-2 victory in a crazy game.

The home side actually took the lead just before the half hour mark, with Christian Pulisic scoring the goal. The game would be flipped on its head a few moments later when Thiago Silva as sent off for a second bookable offence.

West Brom seized the initiative from this point. Two goals from Matheus Pereira in first half stoppage time handed them the lead.

Robinson, who was introduced as a first half substitute after fellow Ireland international Dara O'Shea was forced off due to injury, would add to their lead in the second half with a stunning volley.

Goals from Diagne and Mason Mount would follow before Robinson had the final say in the game. He scored West Brom's fifth in injury time, producing a tidy chip over the on-rushing Edouard Mendy.

Remarkably, every Premier League goal Robinson has scored in his career has now come against Chelsea.

His two braces in this campaign, along with an equaliser for Sheffield United at Stamford Bridge last season, brings total to five against the London club.

Speaking to BT Sport after the game, the striker said he couldn't explain why he had such a good record against this particular opponent.

I don't have a clue. It must just that team where I enjoy playing against their defenders, I'm not sure.

The lads did great for me today to get those two goals and I really enjoyed it.

Now, is there any chance they can put Chelsea in Ireland's World Cup qualifying group?
