Callum Robinson Joins West Brom From Sheffield United In Exchange Deal

Ireland international Callum Robinson has joined West Brom from Sheffield United in an exchange deal which sees Oliver Burke go the other way.

The 25-year-old Robinson spent the latter half of last season on loan at West Brom, helping the club gain promotion to the Premier League.

He's signed a five year deal at the Hawthorns and will be available for West Brom's opening game of the season against Leicester this weekend.

"I can’t wait to get going," Robinson told West Brom's club website.

"Discussions were taking place over the summer but these things take time. I’m thankful it has all been completed and I’m really happy to be back here.

"I really enjoyed my loan spell last season. The Club is a fantastic place to be. It has a real family feel to it. The players, the staff, the fans. Everybody.

"I was fortunate enough to help Albion win promotion to the Premier League and I’m so excited to have the chance to play for this Club in the Premier League."

West Brom sporting director Luke Dowling added: "We have seen his ability out wide and also feel he has the capacity to be equally effective in the central areas.

"There is a belief here that there is a lot more to come from Callum under Slaven’s guidance and his development will be another important asset for the club."
