Vine: Championship Manager Icon Scores A Beauty Of A Free Kick
By Gary Reilly

The name Kennedy Bakircioglü may not mean much to the majority of footballing fans, but for a select few it brings back the heady days of 2001/02 when an attacking triumvirate of Kennedy, Tonton Zola Moukoko and Kim Kallstrom formed some kind of Swedish symphony orchestra. Really, you only needed a fully fit Kennedy to ensure your Championship Manager dreams could come true.

Away from the computer screen, the flesh and blood Kennedy has had a decent career having had spells with Ajax and Racing Santander. Now, the 33 year old Championship Manager hero is back playing with Hammarby in the Swedish second division and he's still doing the kind of things that made him a hero to so many of us back in the day.

Rumours that he out bald spotted Zinedine Zidane in an attempt to regain his former glory continue to go unconfirmed.
