Chris Forrester scored twice for Pat's, his first was a beauty. Taking a long crossfield ball from Sean Hoare on his chest, Forrester then lobbed the ball past Paul Skinner in the Longford goal.
That was the 18th minute. Two minutes before the break, Forrester added his second from the penalty spot.
James Chambers scored Pat's third just four minutes after half time.
