We are big, big fans of Chris Sutton's punditry around these parts, as the former Chelsea and Celtic striker is beautifully blunt and has an allergic reaction to bullshit.
He is never afraid to call anyone out for talking nonsense, and presents his arguments in a cold, calm manner that is incredibly satisfying to watch... Or listen to, as we learned tonight from a discussion that took place on Scottish radio station Clyde 1.
Sutton was invited onto the show to counter the argument made against him by journalist Derek Johnstone, who has been highly critical of Sutton's supposedly negative punditry in recent weeks. In particular, Johnstone took issue with a number of things Sutton said regarding Rangers, so it was always going to be an interesting debate... But it surpassed expectations.
Sutton described Johnstone as a charlatan, "spineless", and an embarrassment to the media profession as he did not hold back.
Sutton had a response for everything that was leveled against him, and when he asked Johnstone to name a single lie that he was accused of telling, the subject changed. That's a flawless victory for the former Celtic man.
He is an expert at keeping his cool when others around him are losing it, that was incredible radio.
