Liverpool have been the pantomime villain for all my life when it comes to my interest in football. Nothing gave me as much glee and seeing them lose and one of my favourite pastimes is taking them over on Football Manager and giving all their youth squad £100,000 a week contracts so the club goes bankrupt and gets relegated.
But at the end of the day, that exactly what it is – a pantomime. Back in the real world, this Liverpool fan perfectly captures the true wonder of sport; its power to unite and the passion it can inspire.
