With Seamus Coleman having moved to Everton from Sligo Rovers a full six years ago, and having been a member of the Irish set-up for four, you'd have thought the British press would remember where he hails from.

Step forward the Daily Mail, the most-read online Paper in the world has made a bit of a mess with their transfer gossip round-up this morning.

We're not even sure how this is still possible, the right-back is now one of the most recognisable defenders in the league and has been a staple of transfer rumours for some time.

We look forward to England visiting Ireland on June 7th, the English press will be left in no doubt to his nationality after he no doubt puts in a stellar performance.
