Bournemouth are reportedly looking to sign Dara O'Shea from West Brom.

The Daily Mail reports that the Premier League side believe that the Ireland U21 international could follow in the footsteps of David Brooks in making the leap from the Football League to the top tier.

The Dubliner, who began his career with St Kevin's Boys, has impressed this season while on loan at League Two side Exeter, making 26 appearances. The club currently occupies the final playoff spot with a game of the season remaining.

Exeter manager Matt Taylor said earlier this season that he believes O'Shea "could go all the way".

"If you're 19 years old and playing regularly at centre-half or centre midfield in League Two, you've got a chance of making it all the way in the game," Taylor told BBC Sport.

Since he's come into the team he's been exceptional for us.

He's still a young defender learning his game and we feel we've played a part in his development.

He's going to be a very good player and the international call-up is a bonus to top it off for him.

O'Shea made his Ireland U21 debut last month, starting at centre-back as his side beat Luxembourg 3-0 in Stephen Kenny's first game in charge.
